Embrace the Face Challenge - Day 2 WIP

Here is today’s progress on the face I’m painting for Embrace the Face! I reworked the background, added some detail to the face, and I collaged on the lace for the challenge. I think the face is more youthful than it was last time. I’m happier with it today, but it’s time to let it sit for the night.

It’s not done, but I need to figure out what needs to go on the left. Any ideas?

  4. I love her! I see words on the side. But I have to say, I think this is one of my favorite face drawings you have done. LOVE IT!

  5. the face looks beautiful! my first thought was that the left side could be a faded wallpaper pattern.

  6. You’re right, she does look younger. I like the lace under her face. I look forward to seeing what you do with the background. My suggestion (as always, worth what you pay for it) is some tattered pieces of lace, partly painted over with the background.
