CreativeTherapy Catalyst 22

Oh my goodness! All the excitement of Art Unraveled got me off schedule in publishing the CreativeTherapy catalyst for this week, so here it is: What is your greatest accomplishment? Here is my response: Biggest accomplishment? This was hard to choose. From a professional and educational standpoint, I have accomplished a lot in my 40

CreativeTherapy – Catalyst 21

This week’s catalyst was a lot of fun. Since I have been doing a lot of fabric work lately, I decided to use fabric to show this one. The catalyst is “what is your first memory of love?” Mine is my grandmother. Grandma Miriam was one of the most givine and loving souls I have

CreativeTherapy – Catalyst 19

Before I left for France, I made myself finish one more catalyst since I knew I would be exhausted upon our return and that I’d have my treatment soon, too. Well, I’m so glad I did, because it’s Sunday again! And Catalyst 19 is now up. It’s “What is your quirk/idiosyncrasy?” Click on the image

What I’ve been up to

Catching up – Gifts and Drawings

I’ve been quiet the past few days, but not because of my health. I’ve been focused on sewing and painting for a gift I created for my mother-in-law as a Mother’s Day gift. I’ve had to keep it under wraps, because my MIL reads my blog regularly (*waves to mom*)! It’s to the left. It’s

Some Drawings

While my niece was here, I did get some time to do a bit of drawing. As always, drawing always keeps me grounded. That’s why it was even more important for me to do it while I was hosting the family. To the left is my CreativeTherapy response to “What makes you, you?” which is

CreativeTherapy

This week’s catalyst for CreativeTherapy was “The best part of today” I created my entry using the drawings I did while I was with Angie on Saturday. It’s always the best part of the day when I’m with Angie. When I’m not, the best part is the meditative act of drawing. As a result, the
